Ingredients

1 1/2 c. warm water
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (1 Tbsp.) active dry yeast (I use RapidRise)
4 c. flour
Preparation

Combine warm water with sugar, oil and salt.
Sprinkle yeast over mixture.
Add flour, stirring until smooth.
Let rise 10 minutes; stir down.
Continue rising dough 10 minutes, then stirring down every 10 minutes for 1 hour.
On lightly floured surface, roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
Roll jelly-roll style to make loaf.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Cover and let rise in warm place for 30 minutes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
