Carrot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. cooked carrots, mashed and cooled
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 rounded tsp. baking powder
    2 c. plus 2 tsp. unsifted flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening.
    Add sugar and then egg.
    Cream thoroughly. Add salt, vanilla, baking powder and carrots.
    Mix well.
    Mix in flour.
    Drop on cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
