Gingersnaps(These Are Crispy On The Edges But Soft In The Center) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
granulated sugar
Preparation

Mix thoroughly shortening, brown sugar, egg and molasses. Blend in remaining ingredients, except for granulated sugar. Cover and chill for one hour.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
Dip tops into granulated sugar. Place balls, sugar side up, 3 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from baking sheet immediately.
