Applesauce Souffle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. unsweetened thick applesauce
1 Tbsp. honey
4 eggs, separated
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat egg yolks until lemony in color. Gradually add applesauce and honey.
Beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff but not dry.
Gently fold applesauce mix into egg whites.
Pour into ungreased 1 1/2-quart souffle dish or casserole dish.
Place in shallow pan of hot water.
Bake 30 minutes.
Serve at once.
Excellent with potato pancakes.
