Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1 c. corn meal
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 small onion, chopped
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together;
drop by teaspoon into hot grease.
Fry until floating or golden brown.
