Sweet Sour Broccoli And Cauliflower - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. fresh broccoli or 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen broccoli spears
    3/4 lb. fresh cauliflower (1 small head) or 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen cauliflower
    4 slices bacon, diced
    2 green onions, minced
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook broccoli and cauliflower separately.
    Follow package directions if using frozen vegetables.
    Or, cook fresh vegetables until tender-crisp.
    Drain.
    Turn into warm serving dish.
    While vegetables cook, put bacon into frying pan and cook until crisp. Remove bacon and reserve.
    Pour out all but 3 tablespoons of the bacon drippings.
    Add onions.
    Saute for 2 minutes, then stir in brown sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Heat.
    Pour sauce over cauliflower and broccoli in serving dish.
    Top with crisp bacon. Serve immediately.
    Makes 4 servings.
