Sour Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream

Preparation

Dissolve baking soda into the sour cream.
Set aside.
Cream sugar and shortening together until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; stir until mixed.
Add baking soda-sour cream mixture; stir well. Add flour, baking powder and salt; stir until well mixed.
