Red Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 oz. red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs.
    Mix cocoa and food coloring to make a paste.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add buttermilk and flour and salt alternately.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla.
    Dissolve the soda in the vinegar.
    Bake in 3 layer pans at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes or until done.
