Easy Shrimp Etouffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. parsley
    1 bay leaf
    3 lb. raw shrimp
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter and add flour.
    Stir until the roux is medium brown.
    Add vegetables and cook until they are tender.
    Add water, shrimp and seasonings.
    Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
