Burgundy Pecan Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. dry red wine
    1 tsp. instant minced onion
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Lightly mix ground beef, pecans, salt and pepper.
    Shape into 4 patties.
    Brown on both sides.
    Drain.
    Add wine and onion. Cover; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Remove patties to platter.
    Blend water and cornstarch.
    Add to pan juices.
    Cook and stir until boiling.
    Pour over patties on serving platter.
    Makes 4 servings.
