Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening, butter or margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Beat well until lemon colored.
    Combine flour, baking powder and milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Beat well.
    Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
