Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. whipping cream
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
9-inch baked pastry shell

Preparation

Wash and stem berries. About 1 hour before serving, pour berries in pie shell. Cover with confectioners sugar. Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla; spread on top of pie.
Chill until ready to serve.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
