Batter White Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 3/4 c. warm water
6 1/2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. soft shortening
Preparation

Sprinkle yeast on water, stir in until dissolved.
Add 3 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt and shortening. Blend on low speed, then 2 minutes at medium speed.
Beat in 3 1/4 cups flour by hand. Cover, let stand 45 minutes.
Stir hard 1/2 minute.
Spread in 2 greased bread pans.
Let rise 20 minutes.
Bake at 365\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
