Yellow Squash Casserole 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash (about 4 large)
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped pimento
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. bread crumbs, toasted in 1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
    Boil, drain and mash squash.
    Saute in a little margarine onion and pepper.
    Add to squash.
    Add mayonnaise, egg, pimento, cheese and sugar.
    Pour into 1-quart casserole.
    Top with bread crumbs. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes.
    Serves 6.
