Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter, softened
Preparation
    Sift flour and cornstarch, beat butter until creamy.
    Add sugar and beat; gradually add flour.
    Knead with hand, then pack in pan until it is 1/3-inch thick.
    Mark in squares; prick with fork.
    Bake about 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 oven.
