Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa or less
pinch of salt
vanilla
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. soda
1/2 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs.
Mix cocoa and soda and add boiling water.
Add flour and buttermilk to creamed mixture.
Then add cocoa mixture and vanilla.
Bake in slow oven at 350\u00b0.
