Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 large egg
3/4 c. orange juice
2 c. cranberries (whole)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Line bottom of a 9 x 3-inch loaf pan. Butter the paper (wax). In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugar and orange rind. Beat in the egg until blended. Stir in the flour mixture in 3 additions, alternating with orange juice, only until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in whole cranberries and nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 55 minutes. Turn out on wire rack. Cool. Wrap and store for 2 days.
