Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn (canned)
2 eggs or egg substitute
1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt
pinch of pepper
Preparation

Mix corn and beaten eggs; sift and add dry ingredients.
Beat until smooth.
Drop by tablespoon in shortening.
Brown; turn to brown both sides.
If cream-style corn is used, a little more flour may be needed. I chill the batter before frying.
