Moist Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed bananas
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Combine soda, buttermilk and vanilla in a small bowl.
    Add dry ingredients and buttermilk mixture alternately to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in bananas. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
