Hot Grape Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. grape juice
    5 to 6 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 apple, unpeeled and diced
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    4 lemon slices (for garnish)
Preparation
    Heat grape juice in a saucepan.
    Add sugar and simmer until dissolved.
    Stir in lemon juice and cloves.
    Simmer 2 minutes longer.
    Add the apple.
    Pour into glasses.
    Garnish with lemon slices.
