New Mexican Green Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, chopped
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 to 2 lb. beef or pork, cubed
    2 large cans chopped green chilies
    1/2 small can chopped jalapenos
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper
    6 to 8 Tbsp. cooking oil
    4 to 6 c. beef stock
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Add the chilies and jalapenos and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
