Loving Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla to milk. Fold in flour alternately with milk, making about 4 additions of each.
    Pour into 8-inch greased pans.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serve with joy!
    Yields two 8-inch layers.
