Lamb Layer Casserole Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced, cooked lamb
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can onion soup
    1 pkg. frozen peas, broken up
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. each: rosemary and mint
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 cooked potatoes, sliced
    2 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/2 pkg. pie crust mix
Preparation
    Combine lamb, onion, soup and peas in 2-quart buttered casserole.
    Season.
    Sprinkle herbs and rind.
    Top with layer of potatoes and tomatoes.
    Roll out pie crust (according to package directions).
    Cut into 3/4-inch strips.
    Crisscross strips over tomatoes.
    Pinch edges.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
