Peanut Or Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. raw peanuts or pecans
    3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except baking soda in large saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat to 310\u00b0, stirring constantly. When temperature reaches 310\u00b0, remove from heat; add baking soda and stir vigorously until dissolved. Pour mixture onto 2 cookie sheets sprayed with Pam cooking spray. Let cool and break into serving pieces. Use a long wooden spoon to stir because the mixture gets very
    hot.
