White Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    40 Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    4 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 envelopes Dream Whip
    medium can crushed pineapple
    8 oz. cream cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat 4 egg whites until stiff, then add sugar and beat again; add Ritz crackers and mix together.
    Press into cake pan.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Beat Dream Whip (as directed on package, but for 2 envelopes) until stiff.
    Drain can of pineapple into a bowl (save the juice).
    Cream the cream cheese with the juice to make creamy.
    Mix all together (Dream Whip, creamy-cream cheese and crushed pineapples), and pour over top cooled Ritz cracker mixture.
    Add nuts on top.
    Keep refrigerated.
