Pecan Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown rice
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook rice as directed on the package.
In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender, but not browned. Add hot cooked rice, pecans, parsley, basil, ginger, salt and pepper.
Mix well by lifting with a fork.
Serves 6.
