Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cream shortening, beat sugar and add egg (beating well).
    Add flour mixture. Chill for 1 hour.
    Roll dough in balls and dip in granulated sugar to coat.
    Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
