Crescent Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. Imperial regular margarine
    10 Tbsp. sugar
    4 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. water
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. chopped pecans (measure before chopping)
Preparation
    Cream butter and margarine.
    Add sugar, vanilla and water; mix.
    Sift flour and salt; add to mixture.
    Mix.
    Add pecans and mix thoroughly.
    Using a small portion of the mixture about the size of a walnut, roll longways into a crescent shape (keep size even).
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Cool slightly.
    While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
