Mexican Stuffed Shells - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box pasta shells (for stuffing)
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
16 oz. picante sauce or salsa (mild)
1/2 c. water
8 oz. tomato sauce
4 oz. chopped chilies (optional)
8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1 small onion, chopped
Preparation

Cook and drain shells. Brown beef and drain.
Combine picante sauce, water and tomato sauce.
Stir 1/2 cup into ground beef along with chilies, 1/2 cup grated cheese and onion.
Mix. Pour 1/2 of remaining sauce on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Stuff shells with meat.
Arrange shells in dish, pour remaining sauce over shells.
Then top with remaining cheese. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes (cover for at least 30 minutes of baking time).
