Salisbury Steaks - cooking recipe

1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
dash of pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. ketchup
Preparation

Mix thoroughly 1/3 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper.
Shape into 6 oval patties.
In skillet, brown patties (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.
Add remaining soup, ketchup, Worcestershire and mustard.
Gradually blend water into flour until smooth.
Stir into soup mixture.
Cover, cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.
Stir occasionally.
Makes 6 servings.
