Golden'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening well, add eggs, one at a time; add milk, flour and salt alternately.
    Grease large tube pan.
    Start in cold oven and cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or longer.
    This is a very pretty pound cake.
