Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
1 1/4 c. sugar divided
1/2 c. pecans
1 6 oz. cream cheese
1 8 oz. cool whip
2 3 oz. strawberry jello
2 10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries thawed
1 small can crushed pineapple drained
Preparation

Mix pretzels, pecans, 1/2 c. sugar and melted butter; press into a 7 by 11 inch baking pan, bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Beat cream cheese and 3/4 c. sugar till fluffy.
Fold in cool whip and spread over cooled crust.
Chill in refrigerator. Dissolve gelatin in 1 c. boiling water.
Stir in strawberries and drained pineapple.\tPour mixture over cream cheese layer and chill.
