Pork Chop-Potato-Onion Skillet - cooking recipe

4 thin pork chops
1 large onion, thin sliced
3 medium potatoes, thin sliced
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
Preparation

Trim fat from chops.
In a large heavy skillet over medium heat render the fat.
Add chops.
Turn once and brown well. Layer onion, then potatoes on top.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat. Cover and add more water if needed.
Simmer about 30 minutes.
Serve from skillet.
