Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream white sugar and butter.
Add milk; blend well.
Add flour, cinnamon and soda; mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter in greased cake pan (9 to 10-inch square).
