Apple Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
2 3/4 lb. Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced thin
juice of 1 lemon
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
3 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
6 Tbsp. butter, cubed
Preparation

Grease 9-inch baking pan with butter and set aside. Toss apples and lemon juice. Add to the apples the granulated sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and toss together. Turn into prepared baking dish and level mixture without marking apple slices. Combine and mix together the bread crumbs, flour, brown sugar, pecans and cubed butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture. Bake at 275\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm sprinkled with cinnamon. Makes 9 servings.
