Twisted Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. twist macaroni
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. celery seed
    salt and pepper to taste
    celery salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook macaroni.
    Drain well.
    Make sure macaroni is cool before adding dressing or it will curdle.
    Blend all ingredients well and mix with macaroni.
    Best made 24 hours before serving.
    Mix before serving.
