Vidalia Onion Classic Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large Vidalia onions, thickly sliced
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    2/3 c. chicken broth
    1/3 c. sherry
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute Vidalias in butter until they are transparent.
    Add flour, then chicken broth and sherry.
    When slightly thickened, transfer to a medium casseorle dish.
    Top with bread crumbs and cheeses.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
    Serves 4 to 6.
