Colorado Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
4 c. white sugar
2 c. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp. soda
2 c. black walnuts
2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

In small pan, caramelize 2 cups of white sugar.
In a large kettle, mix 4 cups white sugar, milk and butter.
Let this mixture come to a boil, stirring constantly while the sugar is caramelizing. Pour caramelized mixture into creamed mixture.
Cook to hard boil stage.
Remove from heat and add soda.
Beat in thoroughly and let set 20 minutes.
Add walnuts and pecan halves. Beat until thick enough to spread.
Cool and eat!
