Grandmother'S Taffy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cook molasses, sugar and vinegar for 10 minutes.
Add baking soda just before removing from stove.
Pour onto greased platter. Cool until you can handle, then pull.
Cut into pieces with shears.
Cool dry weather is best time to make taffy.
