Hearty Fiesta Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. finely crushed saltine crackers (21 crackers)
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (mixed with 1/2 can water)
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine cracker crumbs, eggs, onion, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add ground beef & mix well. Shape meat mixture into patties. In large skillet, brown patties on both sides. Pour soup over meat; top with beans & green peppers. Cook, covered, over low heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over mixture; cover & cook 5 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
