Creole Pecan Cheese Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
4 eggs
6 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. broken pecans, lightly toasted and finely chopped
1 (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation

Cream
together
the
cream cheese, 1 egg, 4 tablespoons sugar,
1
teaspoon
vanilla and cinnamon.
Stir until no lumps are left.
In
a
separate bowl beat together the corn syrup, 1 teaspoon
vanilla,
3 eggs and 2 tablespoons sugar.
Pour cream cheese mixture into pie shell.
Level
it
off
and
spread the chopped pecans on top.
Pour
over
the pecans the mixture from the other bowl.
Bake in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes.
