Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1 lb. ground chuck or round
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. Italian tomatoes
    1 c. tomato paste
    salt to taste
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    10 oz. lasagne noodles
    2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add the next 10 ingredients to the meat; simmer, uncovered, until thick.
    Discard bay leaf.
    Cook the lasagne noodles in rapidly boiling salted water for about 15 minutes, until tender but not soft.
    Drain.
    Combine the next 7 ingredients.
    Place all in the buttered casserole in the following order:
    cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, noodles,
    meat sauce and Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
