Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
2 medium onions, chopped
2 medium carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/3 c. pearl barley
1/4 c. catsup
1 Tbsp. instant beef bouillon granules
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

In large saucepan, cook ground beef until browned.
Drain off fat.
Stir in rmaining ingredients and 5 cups water.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Remove bay leaf before serving. Serves 4 to 6.
