Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    5 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    dash of pepper
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
Preparation
    Saute butter and onion. Blend in flour.
    Gradually add broth, milk, salt and pepper, stirring until smooth.
    Cook until thickened.
    Add broccoli (puree in blender if desired) to mixture and heat 5 additional minutes.
