Oven Caramelized Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 small onions
    2 tsp. oil
    1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Slice tops off the onions and peel them, leaving the roots intact.
    Cut each onion into eight wedges, taking care not to cut clear through to the root end.
    Grease a deep baking dish. Drizzle the onions with oil and vinegar and season to taste. Cover and bake at 425\u00b0 for 40 minutes until barely tender. Uncover and bake 5 to 10 minutes at 450\u00b0 until soft and caramelized.
    Serve warm.
