Rouladen(German Meat Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    top round, sliced to 1/8-inch thickness by your butcher (count 2 slices per person)
    mustard
    dill pickles, quartered the long way
    bacon, diced
    onion, diced
Preparation
    Spread mustard on the sliced meat.
    Sprinkle with the bacon and onion. Add the dill pickle.
    Roll and tie each with string. Brown rolls in a skillet, remove from pan and add flour and water to the drippings to make gravy and add a bay leaf.
    Replace rolls in the pan and baste with the gravy.
    Place in the oven for an hour at 325\u00b0.
    Remove string before serving.
    Add salt, if needed.
