German Chocolate Cake Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 large can Pet milk
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. coconut
    3 egg yolks
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in saucepan and cook slowly until it thickens.
    Remove from stove and let cool.
    Spread between layers and around.
