3 Week Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 large onion
    1 bell pepper
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion and bell pepper.
    Sprinkle sugar over top of chopped mixture.
    Bring to a boil, vinegar, oil, salt and celery seed; pour over vegetable mixture and stir well. Refrigerate overnight.
    Will keep for 3 weeks.
