Baked Ziti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. ziti macaroni
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. sweet Italian sausage links
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (30 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese (2 c.)
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook ziti according to package directions and drain.
    Remove casings from sausage links. Brown sausage in a large skillet, stirring occasionally. Saute onion in sausage drippings. Drain off excess fat.
    Combine ziti, sausage/onion mixture, spaghetti sauce, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese and Ricotta cheese. Spoon mixture into 3 1/2-quart casserole. Top with Parmesan and remaining Mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serves 6 to 8.
