Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. oleo
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt oleo and pour over brown sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Fold in nuts, chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
